HumanCentric Premium Video Conference Lighting Review: A Huge Upgrade
Updated: 6 days ago
Quick verdict
★★★★☆ 4/5 — This is my second HumanCentric video conferencing lighting set, and the Premium set is a huge step up. The better lights and remote control puck make it a welcome upgrade for long days of video calls. I bought it after my Logitech MX Brio 705, and the two make a great pair.
Best for: Anyone who spends many hours each week on Zoom or other video conference calls.

At a glance
Wireless puck adjusts brightness and color temperature
Lights mount on a monitor or laptop
Lights use an external power source; the controller uses two AAA batteries
What I like
Big improvement: The lighting is a substantial upgrade from my earlier HumanCentric set.
Solid controls: The well-made, weighted puck stays put when I turn the outer dial or press its top buttons.
Reassuring battery life: I initially worried about the puck’s batteries, but after four months of my use they still seem almost fully powered.

Before you buy
The puck is wireless, but the lights still need a power connection.
My four-month battery experience is an observation, not a guaranteed runtime.
